@BlueBlaze20 I’m guessing you didn’t grow up with Mega Man like us older gamers did. Mega Man 9 is largely hailed as one of the best (if not *the* best) Mega Man game in the series, and for us older gamers it’s wonderfully nostalgic. Kids today have just been spoiled by the graphics capabilities of next gen consoles.

I’m going to have to disagree with you on most of that. The first X was ok, though.
I know that a lot of the names have already been taken, but seriously….rainbow man?
whats are u talking about ? the X series are as good, maybe even better, than the original series. the original megaman and the megaman x series are the best of the franchise. Zero was a good spin off franchise, i enjoyed it. battle network, well i dont even consider battle network to be part of the megaman universe.
But Mega Man has gone in a terrible direction, just like Sonic. X, Zero, Battle Network, etc.. All that is awful.
I’ll play an 8-bit Mega Man game if it’s actually a MEGA MAN game, just like I’d go back to 16-bit (was it?) for a REAL Sonic game.

I don’t understand why they made Mega man 8-bit again, people say yeah that’s what made mega man great, well Zelda, Mario, also metriod too. But they seems to evolve into the next gen without a problem, if you want to make mega man great, upgrade the graphic, and continue making compelling gameplay, not rehash crap!
