about 13 years in the making and 3d realms craps out, i really hope somebody picks this up and finishes it, it willl make the new era in fps gaming lol
amazing shadows and animations in these clips, i see why its taking a while, especially considering this is only 2minutes of the game.

that World Of Warcraft was interfering with the development of the game.
I know that if DNF was released in 2001 i would still be playing it and they wouldnt have had a goddamn lawsuit.

If Take 2 is able to get the franchise from 3-d realms. (There are duking it out in court right now no pun intended) They could just outsouce the game to another developer like Epic Games or ID Software and finally finish the damn thing. The game will never be done if it’s in the incompetent hands of George Broussard and the rest of the morons at 3-D Realms. They had 12 damn years to finish this game and what do they have to show for it? Not even a playable beta demo.
Take 2 offered 3d relams $30 million for the franchise right when they were about to go under but George Broussard turned it down. Guess it was too much for his ego if another company took over production of his game. Kind of like having another man raise your kid. Now 3d realms is bankrupt and Take 2 is pissed because they paid 3-d realms $12 million to develop DNF
3-D Realms is bankrupted My guess is Take 2 is after the franchise. Since 3-d realms can’t pay them, They’ll try to get the IP

with so many rubbisht titles costing developers millions you would think a company like sony or another game developer would snap up the rights drop a couple million (13.76million dollars) to complete what would be the biggest return on investment in computer game history, even if the games crap! ide buy it
